I had lots of moments of inspiration while in NYC. I checked out the NYC Spring Antique show at the Armory and was in awe of one of the galleries extensive Harry Bertoia copper and bronze metal collection.  But I have to say my highlight was attending a viewing of Claude and Francois-Xavier Lalanne’s  rare pieces at Paul Kasmins gallery in Chelsea.  The showing was in honor of  his new book featuring the incredible couple at their farm studio outside of Paris  where they created their divinely  whimsical surrealist cast animal sculptures for over 40 years . I had the privilege  of meeting Claude and she couldn’t have been more charming and down to earth. J’adore!
