We were in Banff, Alberta last weekend for a wedding at the beautiful Banff Springs Hotel. We took a walk into town and I was super excited to see that the Hudson’s Bay Company is reintroducing the classic Point Blanket . This iconic stripe pattern of green, red, yellow and indigo (blankets in this color combination were sometimes known as “chief’s blankets” and made of felted wool) have been around for over 200 years. The Bay is now making handbags, beach towels and accessories in the classic design. Love it!!!! I have already ordered 4 beach towels for the kids. Sort of like waving a stylish Canadian flag here in LA!
