HOH Pattern
The headboards at the One & Only Palmilla are upholstered in traditional Guadalajaran embroidery, sometimes called Otomi, as we were told by the hotel staff.  The beautifully colored whimsical designs are sketched by the men of the village and sewn by the women, taking up to 8 months to complete one coverlet. The outcome is both modern and playful yet full of historical references. Such a timeless piece for any decor. My daughter and I purchased a stunning table runner to be used on her bed as a decorative element; the perfect souvenir for the perfect trip.
